Opening Up

I have always battled my weight. Four years ago I weighed into my highest weight of 207 pounds. At that point, I knew I had a problem. Being 5'0 and 207 pounds is almost 100 pounds OVER weight. That would make me obese.

I hired trainers, paid money for diet pills, but still only got down to 190 pounds.

Then there was my friend Reggie. Reggie was the ABSOLUTE best trainer I have ever had. Working out with him and following his diet plan helped get me all the way down to 150 pounds. I was wearing a size 8, working out 4 hours a day, and feeling fabulous.

One rule of thumb: NEVER EVER under any circumstances should you date your trainer. Things were great! We worked out together, we ate together, we had competitions against each other, and I was doing great. But then heartache...

Yep, you got it! We broke up. Yes there were other circumstances, but what it led to was a 25 pound GAIN in a little over 2 months.

Now, here I am, back in the grind. I have switched gyms, found a new work out partner (a good GIRLfriend), and I stick to the work out.

My problem is my diet! So, here I am, making a journal of my weight loss! I am determined to be happy again about my body.
